I had so many incredible sessions to round out 2011.  One of my favorite sessions was with the “F” family.   Stacie and Ryan suggested we shoot in their home which I was excited about.  I always enjoy the possibility of using a client home as the backdrop for a session.  You can’t pass up the “homey” feel and the personal touches which make each session so special, plus most clients are at ease at home.  I have to share the names of the little ones in the family because I’m a sucker for cool unique names…Porter and Roma.  I love their names and they are so fitting.  One of the reasons Stacie and Ryan wanted to shoot in their home is because they are set to move to Joplin, MO for a couple of years while Ryan helps to rebuild a hospital there.  I can’t think of a better reason to move than to help another community in need.  Wishing you lots of luck in your future adventure!

Heading out of town today to be with family for the holiday (can not wait!), but before taking off I want to share my engagement session with my new friends Callan and Ben.  They are a lovely couple inside and out.  I enjoyed them so much and just makes me that much more anxious to photograph their wedding this coming year.  Callan and Ben made the coffee mugs which came in pretty handy on that chilly fall morning.   

I enjoy these darling sisters so much.  I can always count on our time together being full of giggles. I seriously could photograph them every week and be perfectly happy!

Things have been slightly hectic this fall so I have been blogger MIA for a bit, but I’m back and anxious to post many of my fall and recent sessions. Let’s start with these two little cuties.  Their dad is the Head Baseball Coach at Skutt and they are his #1 fans.  Mom, dad and their girls are avid baseball fans and spend about half the year watching baseball.  Such a great life!  We shot the pictures on the Skutt field and the girls gobbled up a picnic of yummy ballpark food minus the best part of course…(cold beer!)  This is a special family and I hope daddy enjoys the pictures as much as we enjoyed taking them.    In the hearts of his daughters, daddy is a real “winner!”

What an awesome family…I am crazy about them!  Our families are friends and we always have a riot when we get together so I knew taking pictures for them would be no different.  As expected there was lot of of giggling and funny funny stuff during out shoot.  It was a perfect way to spend an hour! 

 Storm is such a neat guy.  I enjoyed working with him so much.  He is polite, friendly, positive and had a smile on his face the entire time.  I love that about him!  Storm is also a killer athlete playing both baseball and basketball.  I think Storm is such a cool name and it suits him perfectly, plus what an awesome baseball name!  

I really enjoyed the time I spent wtih Brooklyn and her mom.  We had a lot of fun and the day was so pretty!  Just like my friend Brooklyn! 

Ron and Kristin have become near and dear to me in a very short time.   I had the pleasure of photographing them this summer and a short time later they became engaged, hence this beautiful engagement shoot!  They have got to be one of the sweetest couples I have ever met.  They are madly in love with one another and just so much fun to be with.  I photographed Ron and Kristin’s wedding last month and will post those images soon.  It was lovely and very intimate.  Actually, it was pretty perfect.  I am so happy for my new friends and anxious to hear what is in store for our next photo shoot???

So proud to be related to this handsome senior.   Jeff lives in Greeley, CO and unfortunately I don’t get to see him and his family as much as I’d like, so of course I jumped at the chance to take his senior pictures when he planned to be in Omaha.  It was so great getting to spend a little time with Jeff and his girlfriend Blake.  One really cool fact about Jeff is that he is a Motocross Racer.  He and his brother have been racing for most of their lives which I think is so awesome!
